In 1960, Chris Miller started one of the first home care companies here in the Hamptons. As a former security officer and a 13th generation East Ender, Chris understood the need for a house watching service for the many vacant second homes here in the Hamptons. His dedication to his business, working relationship with local service people, and his ability to get things done, assured his customers that their homes were well cared for in the off seasons.
In the late 1970’s Chris’ son, Phil, started helping his father with the company, learning the nuts and bolts of how it operated. He also began to learn the carpentry trade by working for several builders.
In the 1980’s Phil started his own home improvement company while still helping his father on a part time basis. The two businesses went hand in hand, in that when one of the houses needed certain repairs, Phil was able to do the work.
In 1992, the house watching business was passed onto Phil. Currently, Phil and his wife Mary run and operate Miller’s House Care, Inc. Our company still offers the same reliable house watching service which Chris started in 1960. Our construction business offers quality craftsmanship, with attention to detail,
